Ready to convert your crib? You’ll generally just need a conversion kit. All conversion kits include a manual for easy installation.
For the toddler stage, you'll remove one side of the crib, attach the rail, and then lower the mattress to it's lowest setting. Some cribs include conversion kits, while others require you to purchase them separately -- check your manual for details.
To convert your crib to a full-size (or to convert your mini crib to a twin-size bed if applicable), you will use the back and front panels as the headboard and footboard -- check your manual for details.
Standard-Size 4 in 1 Crib
Toddler Conversion: You will need a Toddler Conversion kit (see special note below). A crib mattress can be reused for the toddler bed.
Full-Size Bed Conversion: You will need a Full-Size Conversion kit (see special note below), Full-size bed mattress, and Full-size Box Spring or approved Bunkie Babyletto Bunkie Board
Mini Crib
Toddler Conversion: A few of our mini cribs are designed to grow with your little one and can convert to a toddler bed:
- Gelato 4-in-1 Convertible Mini Crib – toddler rail available separately
- Lolly 4-in-1 Convertible Mini Crib – includes the toddler rail
To convert, you will need the toddler rail and the existing mini mattress
Twin-size bed Conversion: A few of our mini cribs grow with your little one and convert into a twin bed:
- Gelato 4-in-1 Convertible Mini Crib – twin size bed conversion sold separately
- Lolly 4-in-1 Convertible Mini Crib – twin size bed conversion sold separately
To convert, you will need a Twin Conversion kit (see special note below), Twin size mattress, and Twin-size Box Spring.
All-Stages Crib
All conversion kits listed below are included when you purchase one of our all-stages cribs.
- Midi Toddler Conversion (newborn to 2 years old)
- Toddler Bed (1.5 to 2.5 years old)
- Junior Bed (2.5 to 5 years old)
To convert, you will need to utilize your existing Midi mattress and Full size crib mattress for above conversions.
